Ringling Brothers Circus March 2011

We had a fun family trip to the circus in Philadelphia. It was a blast watching the kids faces with all the amazing acts. It was Bryce's first time. He loved the bright lights and animals, but mostly he liked the icecream!

So, we meet again.

Sorry that it has been FOREVER since I have posted any new blogs. I feel terrible that it has been so long since I have updated everyone on our little corner of the world. The kids have grown leaps and bounds, as they should. I am so happy to see the fruits of my labors. They are all three wonderful and happy kids. We made it through another nasty New Jersey winter...and hated every minute of it! We are starting to get outside on the warmer spring days and are looking forward to beach season.

Dylan is seven years old and is flourishing. It has been five long years since his brain injury, and is doing really well. He is crawling, eating much better, and even getting into things. He makes me so happy. That crooked smile melts my heart.

Hailey is 6 years old (7 years old in June) and a total joy. She is helpful, loving, and sweet with her two brothers. She is reading like a pro and learning to love the scriptures (I'm just a little proud of her). She is participating in Girl Scouts and has started doing gymnastics after stopping for almost two years (it was too much for Mommy after Bryce was born).

Bryce is now 21 months old. Heavenly Father never prepared me for what a little firecracker he was sending our way. I have had some crazy and busy kids in my home while I was a foster mother...but, oh my! Bryce is a bundle of fun and craziness! He really keeps us on our toes! Earl says that Bryce's mischief is a punishment for his own childhood misgivings...but, what did I do???

We had recent family pics done (finally!) and I didn't even hate the way I looked in them : ) I promise to do better at posting. More posts and funny happenings coming soon! There is NEVER a dull moment at our house.
